Lydia Wayman is an autistic advocate. She has a B.S. in elementary education and M.A. in English and nonfiction writing. Lydia manages the media (website, emails, designing graphics) at an autism nonprofit center for anyone on the spectrum and their whole families. Lydia primarily advocates through writing, beginning with her blog, Autistic Speaks, in 2009. Her writing and editing now appears in national and international publications, online and in print, including her own self-published books. Passion for autism advocacy has brought her to the main stage at national conferences, the role of Young Leader with the Autistic Global Initiative, and recent features in the Wall Street Journal and on Good Morning America.
